New Squareback Owner
Hello, Just got a 1970 VW Squareback. The original owner says it is a 71 but the title says 70. It is fuel injected. I do not know what the differences between years are. I would be inclined to stick with it being a 70 since that is what is on the title.
It is in need of a lot of work. So my dilemma is; should I restore it to as original as I can or should I customize it. I will probably end up selling it to work on another car. So, I would like it to be worth as much as possible. I will try to take some pictures and post them. |

RE: New Squareback Owner
I think I have decided to do a restoration on the Squareback. It will probably be a lot of work finding good replacement parts. That will just have to be part of the fun.
What do you guys think? |

RE: New Squareback Owner
Now I think I am leaning the other way to just make a custom Squareback that I would like and not a plain looking original one.

RE: New Squareback Owner
I would definitely try to restore it, but I never was much into customized jobs. I like stock
